BuyDesign management fee structure
Businesses
BuyDesign operates as an agent with a creative management fee to streamline the process.
These fees are tailored to your specific needs, whether by project, brief, or further development. Once we have defined your creative challenge, we will propose a cost to meet your needs.
IP & Agreements
All legal (IP licensing or purchase) arrangements are made and signed directly between the designer and the business.
Payments
BuyDesign acts as an agent and single payment hub for your transactions. Whether it’s one-off payments or royalty statements, simply pay BuyDesign, and we will handle the payments to the designers. This way, even if your business has multiple designers, you only need to make payments to BuyDesign, and we will ensure the designers are paid.
Commissions outside of management fees
For one-off purchases of original designs uploaded by our designers, BuyDesign adds a % fee on top of the designer’s asking price. For royalty license agreements, we deduct a % directly from the royalties received by the designer before we pay the designer. We do not charge businesses any additional commission on royalty amounts due to the designer.

We use Stripe to ensure your payments are safe and the money reaches you securely. We don’t keep your financial details at BuyDesign; by keeping them with Stripe, your data is protected and you’re kept safe from fraud.
