At BuyDesign, we utilise Stripe Connect as our payment system to enable secure and seamless transactions between buyers and sellers. With Stripe Connect, buyers can easily make payments for their purchases, and designers can receive payments for their original IP.
Stripe Connect offers various payment methods, including credit, debit cards, and BACS to provide flexibility for buyers and designers. Stripe Connect also includes various features and tools to ensure compliance so BuyDesign does not store any of your personal financial information. Stripe Connect is the payment system that we use at BuyDesign to facilitate transactions between buyers and designers. Stripe Connect provides an API that allows us to process payments on behalf of our users and offers various payment methods and features to ensure secure and reliable transactions.

Stripe Connect is available in many countries worldwide, but there are some countries where it is not supported. If you are located in an unsupported country, please refer to ‘Unsupported countries’ section below.
Buyers on BuyDesign can make payments for their purchases using various payment methods provided by Stripe Connect, including credit, debit cards, and BACS to provide flexibility for buyers and designers.
If you establish a Royalty agreement with a designer through BuyDesign you must provide BuyDesign with the Royalty statements on the agreed schedule, BuyDesign will then issue an invoice which you will then process, once the funds are received to the BuyDesign account, the funds will be transferred to the designer minus any fees or commissions.
To receive payments for their original IP on BuyDesign, designers must complete their Stripe account registration, which is part of the signup process and can be accessed from their account page under ‘Manage your Stripe account’.
Once designers have completed their Stripe account registration, they will then be able to receive payments for their sales. Stripe Connect is available in many countries worldwide, but there are some countries where it is not supported, such as South Korea or Turkey, which have been raised with us recently. If you are located in an unsupported country, the Stripe registration process is skipped when you sign up as a designer on BuyDesign.
When a designer in a non-supported country makes a sale through the BuyDesign portal, the entire amount, including any fees, will be transferred to the BuyDesign account. At this point, the designer will need to send an invoice to BuyDesign for the amount owed, and BuyDesign will need to make a direct payment to the designer, less any necessary fees, outside of the system.
